ESL Upper-Intermediate Level 2 is the final level of the English as a Second Language for professional purposes course and it will develop students’ speaking, presenting, writing and reading skills to an advanced level.
The course is a continuation of Upper-Intermediate Level 1. Successful completion of Upper-Intermediate Level 1 is a pre-requisite for joining the course.
Students will be able to participate fully and confidently in meetings, discussions and negotiations and produce increasingly high-level business and academic documents and presentations.
They will be in an ideal position to progress to IELTS exam preparation courses if their goal is to study in Canada or apply for citizenship.
The final mark is made up of homework, class participation, and test at the end of the course.
Students need an overall mark of 70% or better to progress to the next course.
Minimum age 18.
Successful completion of Upper-Intermediate 1.
12 weeks, 2 times 2 hours a week, evenings (48 hours)
Minimum 80% class attendance is required.
Complete all homework and tests.
Final score of 70% or better.
