No matter which program you choose at Focus College, you will be provided with career-focused training delivered by experienced instructors. Our class sizes are similar or smaller than what you experienced in high school. This is a better alternative than being stuck in a lecture hall with 200 other students where nobody knows your name… where you are just a number.
Whichever program you decide to study, you can be sure of getting the best support to help you reach your educational and career-based goals.
But, that said, you’ll still ultimately need to decide which program is right for you.
To help you make that decision, let’s look at a few important questions you should ask yourself before you apply.
Before you decide what, you want to study, you need to work out why you want to study.
Is it to train for a specific career? To work towards a degree? To test the waters in a new industry?
Whatever your why is, Focus College offers a range of flexible options to help you attain your career-based or educational goals.
All programs at Focus College are focused on improving your employability in one of several growth industries.
It’s up to you to decide which of these is the best fit for you.
To do this, think about your existing skill set and your personal attributes. Read the relevant program information on our website. Do some independent research of your own about the industries and professions that interest you the most. And speak to one of our Admission Representatives for answers to your questions.
By reflecting on what you want and doing your research, can you honestly be sure you have found the program that is the best fit for you.
Focus College has two campuses for you to choose from: Kelowna and Surrey. Both cities are in beautiful British Columbia.
Surrey is located only 30 minutes away from the world-class city of Vancouver It offers a culturally diverse population where you will get an opportunity to sample cuisine and customs from all over the world.
At our Kelowna campus you’ll get the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery we are famous for. In summer, you can enjoy hiking, biking, or watersports in one of the many lakes in the Okanagan. Updated March 16, 2020
Due to the current pandemic and the desire to protect the health of our students, Focus College is taking measures which incorporate social isolation.
We are suspending our Advanced Diploma and Office Manager courses for the week of March 16-20th, to allow for temporary distance learning to be set up. If any students do not have access to a computer from home, we request that they notify the college immediately. Further information on how courses will be delivered will be available as the week goes on. Please monitor your student email for further information throughout the week.
Our April intake, originally scheduled for April 6, 2020, will be extended to May 4th, 2020, with late intakes accepted. We will re-evaluate as time goes on and international travel resumes. Focus College will issue contract amendments and updated Letters of Acceptance for students to use when accessing the country prior to the start of the new semester.
Students, please ensure that your email is up to date and that you are able to receive communications directly from Focus College to speed these letters, as these emails will be sent to both your agent and to yourself.
***NOTE: If you are an international student planning to attend spring semester, and you are not impacted by flights, you will need to check into the college on your arrival. Please contact info@focuscollege.com as soon as possible if this is likely to affect you. ***
