Each program at Focus College has its own admission requirements and prerequisites. Whether you’re applying for an Advanced Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or a Short Certificate, simply explore your program of interest to see what you need to qualify and take the next step toward your studies.

What financial support does Focus College offer?

At Focus College, we encourage students to plan ahead for tuition and living costs. Canadian students can explore scholarships, student loans, and installment options. International students are eligible for payment plans only.

Who can apply?

Applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma or an equivalent Canadian qualification. Mature students and those with relevant work experience may also qualify. Proof of English proficiency is required (minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).

Students Applying from Within Canada

To apply as a domestic student, please ensure you meet the admission requirements for your chosen program. The application process includes:

  1. Prepare your documents: Bring all required documents and a valid photo ID showing your full name and date of birth when registering.
  2. Submit your application: Complete and send in your application online.
  3. Confirm your eligibility: Once your admission requirements are verified, you will need to pay a $250 CAD non-refundable application fee to secure your seat.
  4. Arrange your payment :
    • If self-funded, you may pay your first-year tuition in advance or request an installment plan.
    • If using student loans, notify our admissions team.
  5. Have medical coverage: Proof of medical coverage is required before starting your studies.

Tuition Refund Policy

Focus College is a designated institution under the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, British Columbia. Learn more about PTIRU here: https://www.privatetraininginstitutions.gov.bc.ca/

Our Tuition Refund Policy follows all PTIRU regulations. To request a refund, students must provide written notice of withdrawal to Focus College by email, mail, or fax. If submitted in person, the notice must be officially stamped by Focus College, and a copy will be given to the student for their records.

Please note: Non-attendance does not count as a withdrawal notice.
