Program Overview

Our 5-Star French Lower Intermediate FSL Program will build upon the 5-Star Beginner FSL Program through growth of language skills through reading, listening, writing, and speaking exercises. This is the second of 4 French levels offered at Focus College. Each lesson of this program will apply vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, conversation patterns, and reading on subjects that we experience every day such as greetings, activities, sports, hobbies, etc.

Admission Requirements

Academic Eligibility

Completion of 5-Star French Beginner FSL Program or equivalent

For Distance Learning Students
  • Access to internet (high speed recommended)
  • Minimum download speed of 15 megabits per second
  • Minimum upload speed of 5 megabits per second.
Technology Access

A personal computer is required for the entire program, with a minimum of the below specs:

  • A minimum of 8 gigabytes of RAM
  • Headset with microphone or a good pair of speakers and microphone
  • Windows 10 or newer | Updated Apple Software
  • Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari

NOTE: This program is not designed to work on devices such as smart phones or tablets.
