Focus College successfully delivered a Food Handler Safety Training session at WorkBC Abbotsford on June 16, 2026, helping participants gain the essential knowledge and certification required for safe food handling in British Columbia. The Food Handler Safety Training program is a practical, hands-on course designed to meet British Columbia food safety training requirements for individuals who prepare, handle, or serve food in restaurants, cafés, catering businesses, healthcare facilities, and other food service environments. Following the classroom training, participants complete the official online examination through the provincial certification platform. Upon successfully passing the exam, participants receive a Food Handler Certificate, which is recognized by public health authorities across British Columbia and remains valid for five years.
